Both schools, the vocation training school, and the early childhood development center, are financially dependent on the school fees collected from the students, which covers 75% of the school’s running expenses. The deficit is occasionally raised through grants and donations from the friends of the project. In addition, we are trying to develop income generating projects in various departments like catering, agriculture, pottery, tailoring, and weaving.
We would like to thank the Gershenberg family and the Lila Amsel Trust – all in the United States of America; the Taylor family and the Capricorn Trust – all in the United Kingdom, the Palle Moeller Foundation in Uganda who have supported us and have often sponsored our students in this regard for a number of years. Other significant support has come from members of the Kibuka family and the Kityo family. This support has helped this project to grow from strength to strength over the last 50 years.
Thank you in advance for your interest. We would like to appeal to anyone or any organization that is interested in partnering with us to keep this project going. A donation or sponsorship of any kind will enable us to increase our student enrollment and strengthen our program offerings. In addition, this support helps us to keep the founders’ goal of “self-help” alive.
