This school provides practical training for young adults.
This center provides early childhood education and care to children in the local community.
The school admits youth between the ages of 15 to 20 years. This is normally after they have completed their ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level studies in Secondary School. The requirements for admittance are an ‘O’ Level Certificate with a minimum of 6 passes including English and Mathematics. However, some exceptions can be made for students who leave secondary school without having attained these qualifications. Since the early 2000s, annual enrollment has been about 30 to 35 students, with some years reaching a high of about 60 students. In 2019, the school had a total of 40 students, predominantly girls, from all over the country. Most were from the central part of the country. The school has boarding facilities to accommodate students who live far away. All 40 students successfully graduated in 2019.
Success stories
Some graduates from the Early Childhood Development program have found employment as teachers in various schools in Uganda while some have started private schools in their local communities. Many graduates from other vocational programs were successful in finding employment within their field of study. There are some who have started their own businesses using skills they learned in their programs. In cases where graduates show an aptitude for higher learning, the school provides assistance and support for their applications to universities or training colleges to further their education.
